St Xavier's College engage its faculty members and students in the following research activities:-
National Conference - The main aim of organising the conference is to provide an open, multi-disciplinary platform for thinkers, academicians, national and international scientists, economists, business leaders, politicians and social activists to debate and share their thoughts, ideas, views and address the challenges faced. It includes keynote addresses, panel discussions by leading experts, presentations by researchers and practitioners, informal conversations and dialogues for mutual enrichment.
College Magazines - ECONOPSIS (Department of Economics), X-TechZine (Department of Computer Science), Literati (Department of English) - an annula publications.
Student Projects - Project is a way to inculcate among the students problem solving skills that requires the use of fundamental skills like reading and writing and other skills like personal and social responsibilities, planning, critical thinking, reasoning, creativity, teamwork, time management, information synthesis, cross-cultural understanding, visualizing, decision making, and utilizing ITC tools.
