The learning curve for SXPC struck a sopranic note this year. SXPC plans its activities in three distinct directions. It organizes weekly photo-walks in the places around town (tourist spots such as Amer, Jal Mahal) and weekend trips, to help the members learn the fine details of various SXPC undertakes its responsibility towards the college very seriously and every event is marked by the presence of our industrious shutterbugs. Some of the events covered by SXPC this year.
"Photography captures an event that is gone forever; impossible to reproduce!"
But that's just not it! Every coin has its flip side! Our life is much beyond that, our satisfactions are beyond what I just wrote, want to know how? Alright, now imagine you get a call from the college before every event to attend the events that are going on, to volunteer as a photographer in them, imagine yourself entering with a professional camera, and imagine the smiles that people give to your camera, your name being called out from different sides,
"Please click my picture too!", people making a way for you wherever you go, you don't have to look around for seats or reach the venue before the event begins to occupy the front seats, instead you're the one who can stand or sit anywhere, you're the one who can instruct anyone to pose the way you want them to, and above all how would you feel when you realize that the event's beauty and fun would be half without you around? Wouldn't it feel good when you're the one who captures the memories to keep the event alive and lively for years! Yes, that's what we, at SXPC learn, that's what we do, "keeping event memorable at every step!"
And our photography doesn't get restricted to only college events, we organize our own meetings and trips almost every week to learn as much as we can!
"It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. In photography everything is so ordinary, it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the extraordinary!" -David Balley
Our exhibitions clearly prove the above lines of David Balley. Whatever we click all round the year, whatever we learn, doesn't go waste, we conduct an exhibition every year to put up a display of what all we've been doing at SXPC and also beyond that!
"Photography is like any other art, the techniques can be taught, but the creativity has to come from within."
We not only capture memories but also create our own! All our trips, competitions, and meetings are fun-filled and learning at the same time!
Pulling each other's legs, taking each other's funny pictures and then black mailing them with those for just ice creams, running around to hit each other, starting to eat the moment we sit into the cars to set out for any trip, are just examples of the happy time we spend together! SXPC is a club where we have fun, fights, friendship, love, care, understanding and the most important loads of clicking and learning! Its not just a club, its one big family and all the credits for the present stability of SXPC goes to the founder admins of it: Arun Nahata, Ritesh Jhatwal, Pallav Bhargav & Mohit Sharma.
We also heartily welcome the entry of new members who would like to click and learn with us! For details, please feel free to contact the Megha Bhutra or Bhuvan Gaur.
For others, all we would like to say is keep smiling, for you may never know when you are being clicked!
